A regularity section for sports cars and vintage cars built before 1969, the ING Ardennes Roads also offers a magnificent asphalt route around Spa, the cradle of auto sport, with its long, winding and picturesque routes across the Ardennes. A classic of the calendar, this test perpetuates the tradition of the "gentlemen drivers" of yesteryear, their sporting spirit, conviviality and courtesy.
However, the ING Ardenne Roads is also, and above all, a meeting of enthusiasts, friends who love to gather at the beginning of spring in order to enjoy a good time together. Each year, Trajectoire welcomes new disciples of the pleasures of motoring. After they have experienced the welcome and goodwill lavished upon them by our experienced teams, they return the next year bringing other friends in their turn.
After the 2015 trial, we have decided to return to what is the real essence of ING Ardenne Roads: exclusively a regularity rally, designed to be accessible to as many people as possible.
The whole road book is made with tulip arrows and the itineraries offer transit controls, time controls with commissioners (exclusively) and, of course, regularity sections measured to the second.
Many navigators are more apprehensive about starting this sport than the drivers. With this in mind, we organise a brief navigation training session on Friday evening to familiarise you with reading road books, keeping an average schedule, respecting transit times and the principle of regularity sections.
Traditionally we stay for the whole weekend at the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel and Silva Hotel – Spa Balmoral. Both offer every comfort of a four-star hotel.
You can arrive as early as Saturday morning, or even stay overnight Friday (booking exclusively through our registration fee).
Lunches are organised by our caterer, in little-known places in this region rich in cultural heritage.
And thanks to our sponsor ING Private Banking, you will be invited to our official dinner on Saturday evening in the Casino Spa in front of the Radisson Blu Palace.
We have organised official specialist mechanical assistance. This will be provided along the route and will resolve any problems you may have, so a technical hitch will not prevent you from completing the rally.
The rally cars are parked inside the Parc de Sept Heures which is guarded at night. The route is designed to ensure you are never in any danger. The last check is carried out the day before the start. Finally, to maximise security, a lead car will drive ahead of the first competitor and a second team will bring up the rear.
The registration fee is 1.575 € VAT incl.
An amount of €1,545 will cover accommodation for the teams in a double room, a buffet breakfast, lunch, the Saturday evening dinner offered by ING, insurance, sporting rights and official assistance.I register
The ING Ardenne Roads must remain an attractive event on account of the cars that are participating in it, as well as its other features. Only models in existence on or before 31.12.1969 are eligible.
The organisers may make an exception for certain models considered to be exceptional.
The Belgian Federation of Historic Vehicles (Fédération Belge des Véhicules Anciens - FBVA) requires all drivers and co-drivers participating in a regularity rally under its auspices to be holders of the "FBVA Rally Pass".
This pass is obligatory insurance for "Risques Sportifs Automoteurs" (Sporting Automobile Risks) giving coverage in the event of any physical accidents to persons taking part.
From now on it must be taken out by each participant with the FBVA BEFORE the rally.
The Rally Pass cannot be issued during the administrative check on Friday.
